About us
Who you are actually dealing with
The hardest thing to establish in this market is that there is a real, findable person on the other end — someone who will still answer the phone in six months. So this page is less about us and more about what you can hold us to.
One person
Chandigarh Doodle Poodle is run by Abhishek Goyal
Not a team, not a call centre and not a listing site with a contact form. The number on every page of this website is the one that gets answered, and the person who answers it is the person you will deal with from the first message to the settling-in weeks after your puppy goes home.
That is a limitation as well as a selling point. It means replies are not instant, and it means there is nobody to escalate to. What it buys you is continuity: you can ask about a conversation you had three weeks ago and get an answer from the person who had it.
The focus
Why Doodles and Poodles, and nothing else
Plenty of sellers in this region will get you whatever breed you name. We do not, and the reason is straightforward: you cannot give useful advice about twenty breeds. Knowing one family of dogs properly is worth more to a buyer than a catalogue.
These particular dogs also happen to suit how people actually live here. They are clever and trainable, they are comfortable indoors, and they shed very little — which matters in a market where most homes are apartments and most buyers are first-time owners. The Poodle sizes cover everything from a small flat to an independent house.
The honest counterweight is the coat. Every dog on this site needs clipping every six to eight weeks for life, and that is the commitment people underestimate. We would rather say that on the way in than have you discover it in month three.
It also means we will sometimes tell you no. If what your household needs is a different kind of dog altogether, that is a reasonable answer and you will hear it. How we work out what suits you.
Hold us to these
What we will not do
These are stated across the site rather than only here, so you can check we are consistent. Every one of them costs us sales, which is rather the point.
- Release a puppy before eight weeks. It is the legal minimum in India and we do not make exceptions, including when a date has already been discussed. Why it matters.
- Take a booking from someone who has only seen photographs. A live video call at minimum, whatever the distance. When we decline a booking.
- Publish a health guarantee. We show you the actual records instead. What we claim and what we do not.
- Sell a “teacup” anything. There is nothing smaller than a Toy, and a premium for an undersized dog is a premium for a welfare risk. The full explanation.
- Use urgency to close a sale. No countdowns, no “two other families are interested”, no discount because you hesitated. When a price should worry you.
- Place a puppy into a home it does not suit — including when you have already decided and the money is on the table.
Deliberate omissions
Things you will not find on this website
Look at almost any competing site and you will find a set of numbers. We have left them out, and it is worth explaining why rather than letting it look like an oversight.
- No count of puppies placed, and no customer numbers. Nobody audits these figures and they are trivially inflated, so publishing one would tell you nothing about us that you could rely on.
- No awards or accreditations. If we hold something meaningful in future, it will appear here with the issuing body named and a document you can check.
- No star ratings or review counts. Reviews you cannot trace to a real person are worth less than nothing, and inventing them breaches platform policy and consumer law.
- No stock photography presented as our puppies. Illustrative photographs on the breed pages are labelled as such in the page source; the availability listings carry real photographs of real puppies or none at all.
- No claims about certification, registration or genetic screening. If any of it applies to a specific puppy, you will be told when you ask and shown the document.
Two things are missing that should be here. This page does not yet state the year the business started or the address it operates from. Both will be added once they can be stated accurately — and you should treat their absence as a reason to ask us directly rather than as something to overlook.
Do not take our word for it
How to check any seller, including us
Everything below costs you nothing and takes an afternoon. If we fail any of it, buy somewhere else.

01
Call the number
Before you send anything, ring it. See who answers and whether they can talk about a specific puppy without checking.
A number that only ever goes to WhatsApp text is worth noticing.
-
02
Ask for a live video call
Not a clip. A call where you can ask for the camera to be moved and see the puppy walk.
Refusal to do one, from anybody, is the answer. Why a live call matters.
-
03
Ask for the date of birth
One date, not a range, and it should match the vaccination card.
-
04
Ask for the terms in writing
The total, what it covers, what the booking amount does and what happens if plans change — before you pay anything.
-
05
Say you want to think about it
Then watch what happens. Pressure at that moment is the most reliable warning sign there is.
It costs nothing to test and it tells you more than any review would.
-
06
Check the site contradicts itself
Read two pages and see whether the story holds. Inconsistency between pages is where invented claims usually show up.
Applies to us as much as to anyone.
FAQ
Questions about us
Who will I actually be dealing with?
Abhishek Goyal, throughout. The same number, the same person, from the first message to the weeks after your puppy goes home. There is no sales team and nobody to be handed off to.
How long have you been doing this?
We have deliberately not put a figure on this website, because an unverifiable number is exactly the kind of claim we are asking you not to take on trust from anyone. Ask us directly and you will get a straight answer.
Where are you based?
We confirm the exact location when we arrange a visit or a collection, along with directions. If that matters to you before you get in touch, call and ask — we would rather tell you on the phone than have you guess from a webpage.
Why are there no reviews or ratings on the site?
Because we will not publish ones you cannot verify, and we are not going to invent them. Ask us to put you in touch with someone who has bought a puppy, and treat any website review you cannot trace to a real person with suspicion — ours included, if we ever publish one.
What happens if I have a problem afterwards?
Call the same number. We stay reachable through the settling-in weeks and we would far rather hear about a problem early than find out about it much later.
